About me
I am a psychologist and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist in the certification process.
I have finished an initial training in a Master’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Wroclaw. I followed this with extensive further professional training in CBT at the SWPS University in Wroclaw.
Since 2017 I have been a member of the Polish Society for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (PTTPB). In my work, I follow the principles of the Psychotherapist’s Code of Ethics.
When working with clients, I care for a safe and friendly atmosphere. My aim is to combine professionalism and knowledge with sincere empathy and a kind approach.
I work in private mental health clinics on a daily basis. I have gained psychotherapeutic experience at the Specialist Support Center for Victims of Domestic Violence in Wrocław, where I supported people experiencing violence. I completed a clinical internship at the day psychiatric ward at the Lower Silesian Mental Health Hospital. After graduation, I did an internship at the Polish Psychological Association in London and I supported people struggling with dementia covered by the Dementia Befriending program at AGE UK.
I am interested in the third wave of CBT, which means that I also draw from approaches such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), CFT (Compassion Focused Therapy). I am also a Mindfulness fun and I apply it when working with patients.
I support adults (from 18 years of age) struggling with such difficulties as:
- depression, dysthymia
- phobias, social phobia, agoraphobia
- panic attacks
- insomnia
- eating disorders
- low self-esteem
- life crises
- difficulty regulating emotions
- difficulty managing stress
- relationship difficulties
- experiencing violence from an intimate partner
